The mission of Pooh's Panda Special Needs Academy, Inc. is
to provide comprehensive, affordable child care that
promotes an exemplary continuum of quality service to
children with special needs through innovative programs that
instill and foster their cognitive, social, emotional, and
physical development.
Vision Statement
Our main trigger is professional in nature: "A Child Care
Facility with Integrity, Serving Children in the Spirit of
Excellence." Our vision trigger emphasizes the sincerity of
our company to provide children with a safe, healthy setting
away from home that encourages age appropriate emotional and
social growth

Pooh's Panda is a childcare
facility for children ages 3-18. Client types include, but
are not limited to, children with autism, cerebral palsy,
mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorder, or

Dear Community
Friend,
The concept of Pooh’s Panda grew out of what was
perceived to be a real and ever growing need for
volunteer stewardship in Fort Bend County.
Solutions to community need demand the
involvement of informed citizens. Pooh’s Panda
offers structured learning opportunities in an
atmosphere that stimulates creative thinking and
encourages children with special needs and their
siblings to work together to utilize both new
and proven tools to meet the challenges of today
and prepare for tomorrow.
Being a parent of an autistic child, balancing
employment and family, I understood the need for
out-of-school care and childcare. At the end of
2003, I opened Pooh’s Panda, dedicated to
meeting the needs of special needs children and
their siblings. This unique program allows
parents an opportunity to select a safe,
welcoming, educational environment that meets
the needs of all the children in their family.
My stewardship, coupled with those of other
philanthropically minded individuals who believe
in our mission, has enabled many children to
reach their full potential.
As we each invest in our Community to help make
America a better place in which to live, we are
investing in the future of all children. Pooh’s
Panda is an investment in the community and our
call to conscience. We must answer that call.
